Bio-Digesters require no sewage-line connection and are independent of any conventional energy requirement. The gaseous effluent (methane) is either continuously let off into the atmosphere or can be collected to be used for various energy incentive activities like generating electricity, water and room heating.

Bio-Toilet/Bio Digester

Bio Toilet is a technology developed and approved by DRDO – Ministry of Defence which offers an innovative technology for disposal of human waste in an eco friendly manner. This technology is very much suitable for any area and application in India. The process under this technology culminates in to treated effluent which is free from Pathogens and is also environmentally acceptable.

The technology has major two components:
a) Low Temperature active inoculums
b) Temperature controlled Bio digester

Bio Digester technology has been used for resolving the problems of un-decomposed human waste. the innovation degrades & converts human waste into usable water and gases in an eco-friendly manner. the process involves the bacteria which feed upon the faecal matter inside the tank, through an anaerobic process that finally degrades the matter and releases methane gas, Carbon dioxide and treated water.
